We played a few games including "what's that smell" (I just made that name up) where they have to smell the baby food and guess what it is. I remember playing that game at a friends shower and loving it (probably because I wasted everyone *toot toot haha) We had brunch: french toast sticks, waffles, sausage, fruit, an egg casserole, orange juice, cherry limeaid, milk... and then cupcakes and whoopie pies. I didn't really plan my time well that morning and instead of making the french toast from scratch I ended up using premade frozen ones from wal-mart. Eggo's anyone? Just keepin it classy, obvi. Ahh well, the girls were sweet and didn't judge (: Couple girls brought the eggs and fruit and helped me get my head on straight too. I hadn't even made the frosting when they got there! I quickly squirted it on, so they aren't the best looking haha. The second best thing to having a party and enjoying everyones company is getting to take pictures of it. I took a lot so enjoy...
the aftermath:
I figured doilies were lacy in their own way so in those went too. I made the pom poms and since I had a little bit of tissue paper left I decided to make mini ones that went on that garland. I also had some extra spray paint left over from making my chalkboard so I spray painted my vase (it used to be clear red- ew.) I had some extra lace left over from my earring frame so I cut it out and used it as a mat for the game and prizes and used scraps of it to go around my napkins and candles. I just hot glue gunned it on the candle glasses and it worked great. For the napkin rolls I used some brads on the back to keep them intact. It's always so fun to use my glassware and since it would be all ladies and no kids what better time. My kids were there though since Tony had to work- but for the most part they were good (:
And that was that.
